Use the ZAxisMapping and Buttons options. I use the exact same mouse, but with X 4.1.0 on a Dell laptop. Here is the section that defines my Logitech mouse (it actually works with an MS optional mouse too): Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse2" Driver "mouse" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Name" "AutoDetected" Option "Protocol" "imps/2" Option "Vendor" "AutoDetected" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "Buttons" "5" EndSection Next, you need to add each InputDevice to the ServerLayout section. The second mouse needs to be "SendCoreEvents", if you have 2 mice. Here is what mine looks like: Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "AGP" Screen "Screen AGP" InputDevice "Mouse1" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Mouse2" "SendCoreEvents" InputDevice "Keyboard1" "CoreKeyboard" EndSection Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ wielder of vi(m), an ancient and powerful magic pteranadon smiles at me and flies up to god -- d.w.
I think you also need to add "imwheel" into one of your scripts I think. I had to. You can find all the instructions in the SuSE help that should be installed on your machine. Mine works like a dream. David. On Fri, 2002-02-15 at 00:46, Keith Winston wrote:

I'm not using it and my Logitech TrackMan Wheel optical works fine without it. Michael -- "# chmod a+x /bin/laden" Michael Nelson San Francisco, CA
