[10.1] MS TrueType Core Fonts
Hi, Which repository provides the Mircosoft(r) TrueType Core Fonts ? I've installed OpenSuSE/10.1 over the Internet, but YaST2 Patches isn't showing it for download ? /opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source /opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/non-oss-inst-source Are already configured in the Installation Source catalog.

I used the fetchmsfonts script from SUSE 10.0 wich works fine on 10.1 ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/10.0/scripts Run it as root and run SuSEconfig after it's finished. Chris Maaskant.

You have to register, in oder to get an update-server added as catalogue. It's a "bit" annoying that YOU does not tell you so, but anyway. Add the update-server by hand, or register via YaST and you will get the patches, including the MS Fonts-script. Sven

Didn't happen with my fresh install, even after registering there is no option to add the MS fonts. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998

I have the same problem. Why aren't included this sources by default? The users should add them if they want security updates and there is no much information about how to set up it. Cheers, Raul
Thanks! I used the fetchmsfonts script from SUSE 10.0 wich works fine on 10.1
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/10.0/scripts
Run it as root and run SuSEconfig after it's finished.
This worked like a charm and everything looks much better now. -m

Nothing, you're done. I had the same errors, but it worked anyway. Chris Maaskant.
