Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get to a console and login as root. Do an "init 3" (without the quotes) to shutdown X. Do "sax2 -l" and see what happens. You should be able to configure your video card, monitor, resolutions, etc. Double check that your monitor is properly recognized. The Viewsonic PF790 is listed in 9.3 Pro (usr/X11R6/lib/sax/api/data/cdb/Monitors) with Hsync=30-97 and Vsunc=50-180. If it isn'tt lised in 9.2's Monitors file then add it in and try sax2 again. IF you get it configured propely in sax2 Test and Save and then do an "init 5" to get X back up and running. Stan
