Im a newbie that knows enough to do damage and is getting good at reinstalling. ;) I want to install the 2.2.19 laptop kernel rpm (the full thing -- not just the image) and then remove the 2.2.16 that came with 7.0. After verifying the 2.2.19 is working and I have run the "lilo" command, can I remove the 2.2.16 directories without doing major damage? Im am trying to save space and I need the full kernel so I can compile the new card service and a wireless network card sources. Thanks. PS - additional advice is always welcome --unless its a flame.

You should not need the old sources anymore, if everything is working correctly. -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.
