[opensuse] 11.4 & LibreOffice 3.4.4.3 stable Broken Dependencies
Hi ! I'm trying to install latest stable LibreOffice 3.4.4.3 from official repository on 11.4. libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.14) libstdc++.so.6 (GLIBCXX_3.4.15) I have included 2 additional repositories - gcc and c/c++ libs, doesn't seem to help, LibO compiled with newer vesrions of these libs. Anyone knows where to find missing libs? Thanks in advance for any suggestion(s). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You got into this problem by installing / removing things by hand from tarball and via rpm --nodeps, -f or some other such method, whereas the whole point of running a distribution based on a package management system is to have it keep track of dependencies so you keep it consistent. My 11.4 here is fully updated and patched and LibreOffice 3.4.4.3 has been installed and running fine for quite some time. The packages that are working here are: libreoffice-hyphen-20110203-4.1.noarch libreoffice-icon-theme-tango-3.4.2.6-1.3.1.noarch libreoffice-base-extensions-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-filters-optional-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-writer-extensions-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-help-en-US-3.4.4.3-5.1.noarch libreoffice-templates-presentation-layouts-3.3-0.2.2.noarch libreoffice-draw-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-impress-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-writer-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-icon-theme-galaxy-3.4.2.6-1.3.1.noarch libreoffice-base-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-base-drivers-mysql-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-labels-letter-1.0.1-0.2.1.noarch libreoffice-gnome-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-draw-extensions-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-icon-theme-hicontrast-3.4.2.6-1.3.1.noarch libreoffice-icon-theme-oxygen-3.4.4.3-1.1.noarch libreoffice-math-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-mailmerge-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-thesaurus-en-US-20060111-6.1.noarch libreoffice-calc-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-labels-a4-1.0.1-0.2.1.noarch libreoffice-icon-theme-crystal-3.4.2.6-1.3.1.noarch libreoffice-pyuno-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-branding-openSUSE-3.3.1-1.2.1.noarch libreoffice-converter-3.3-1.4.1.noarch libreoffice-calc-extensions-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-en-3.3-0.2.2.noarch libreoffice-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 libreoffice-impress-extensions-3.4.4.3-1.1.x86_64 hth & regards, Carl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, in 12.1. It looks like you have chosen a repository for libreoffice that is for 12.1. If you change that to openSUSE_11.4 instead of openSUSE_12.1, things should work Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
