Hm, I don't think so. This is kmail, as far as I know it sets the in-reply-to header correctly. It may have been caused by some inadvertent messing around I did with the mail before I managed to successfully send it. I put in a filter to delete anything from 3d.
A real pain for 1000's of people to do, but it helped with my sanity today.
