Yes. I actually have a fax server using a Trendnet TU2-ET100 (Shows up in yast hardware information as "ASIX Elec AX88772") as the internet facing nic receiving faxes from a bunch of other production application servers 24/7 for a couple of years. Unnecessarily large if this is to be carried around with a laptop. It was originally only supposed to be a temporary measure to give a 2nd nic to a 1u rack server that had no free pci slots, but it kept on working fine so I left it and just got a 2nd one in case the 1st one dies. Linksys USB200M works fine too and is perfectly portable. The problem though with that one was the delicate little door that comprises the collapsible rj45 connector kept breaking off, and this is in a server room where things are generally left untouched. -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

And this worked out-of-the-box on openSUSE 11.2? Various Pegasus based linksys adapters work OK only with w/ 32-bit 10.3 to 11.2. jd -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
