RE: [SLE] OT - looking for bios upgrade for i430VX-2A59Ht5BC-00
I had a similar problem with this BIOS, in the end I fitted a UDMA66 PCI interface card, I needed this as the box was running NT server which could not be fooled into working with a 20gig drive. I did not try, but I would imagine you could boot a CD with one of these boards as it has it's own BIOS built in. The board I bought was by ASUS. David
Thanks to all who answered - having already combed the usual bios sources, I guess I'm not going to get an update. Still, watching the system haul itself up from floppies is character building :)
