KDE 2.1; In what file does KDE save the the anti-alias setting is true? (control-center-look&feel-style --> write in what file?)
Hi, I hope s.b. knows it, as my KDE 2.1 nolonger likes me - since I tried to enable the anti-alias setting. The mistake is certainly on my side (wrong qt-library), but right now I'd like to get KDE working first again, before putting in the time to upgrade to the latest KDE. I asked this in another group and got this answer:
If you can't get to the Control Center to change it back, go to /$HOME/.kde2/share/config/kdeglobals and edit the line that says: AntiAliasing=true to AntiAliasing=false. Most of the bugs for this was fixed in KDE2.1.1, QT2.3.0 and X 4.0.2+.

NO, you must install truetype fonts to get it to work correctly. One of the trolltech guys has some stuff on it on his homepage (www.trolltech.com/~lars or somesuch).
