biding tcp socket : address already in use. What this means is that some process is already listening on the named socket. Check to make sure that named is not already running. Additionally, sockets have a certain persistence. When you close a socket, there is a short time where it cannot be reopened, but we are talking seconds, not minutes. You should use the named script in /etc/init.d.
