Hi
I'm confused about how SUSE Linux 10.0 will be made available...
Is it going to be available from the beginning of October ONLY in retail
boxes (EUR 59) with the FTP servers made available later (as usual) or
will it be available from FTP early October as well and possibly with CD
and DVD ISOs ?
Not that EUR 59.00 is a bad price :)
Sorry if it's obvious to some.
Thanks.

It will be available by FTP too starting on October 6th. I remember reading somewhere that there will be not only 5 CD images but an official DVD image too. The retail boxes will probably contain some stuff which can not be included in the download edition because of lisencing issues, like Sun's Java etc. Cheers, Andreas

Andreas, How does one go about getting access to certain mail lists as per http://mailman.suse.de/mailman/listinfo ? I was told that the devel and research are particularly good so they are the ones I'm mainly interested in. Thanks, Magnus

These mailinglists have nothing todo with the openSUSE project and are only available from within the Novell network. Regards Christoph
