How can a specific view profile be automatically loaded when Konqueror is launched
Hello Friends, I need your help in a little matter. I have saved my preferred view profile in Konqueror under the name A_profile. Each time I launch Konqueror, I want it to load this profile. I have searched in "Settings ---> Configure Konqueror", but did not find a way to do this. Thank you. - Ram

No, but it's annoying when the same question is crossposted between two lists, especially when every single mail you've ever gotten from suse-kde asks you not to do this. -- -ckm

I have begun using Linux only recently and I did not notice any such mails from KDE. I am sorry about the inconvenience. I thought that by posting to several mailing lists that seem to be relevant to my question, I was presenting my problem to a wider audience than that of just one mailing list. - Ram.

I guess you start Konqueror by clicking on a button (either in the KMenu, on the panel or on the desktop), right? Just open the preferences for that link (button) and change the Command to: "kfmclient openProfile A_profile" (without the "") That'll to the trick.
