KDE 3.2 beta RPM's are out. Get them while there hot!
BTW. If anyone of you wanna try out the new KDE 3.2 beta then you can get 8.1, 8.2 or 9.0 binaries from your favorite mirror. I'm almost done with the download. Cheers! -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.

I know what you mean, but after looking through it I found out the QT3 is not build with freetype2. It keeps looking for FT_Seek_Stream instead of FT_Stream_Seek. I am in the proceed of rebuilding QT3 to see whether it will solve the problem. Has anyone had any luck with the 82 rpms ? I got stuck during the dcop_server startup process (looks like dcop_server either failed to start or crashed immediately afterward). kdm looked weird The new kde welcome screen was nice though (and that's as far as I ever got) tried removing ~/.kde, removed all /tmp/kde* /tmp/ksocket* /tmp/mcop* &c ...) then gave upo and reinstalled the 3.1.4 rpms ...

I install the ones from the apt repository (suse-people) that are updated every few days. They are all working fine for me on SuSE 9.0. Henry Harpending

I tried downloading the ones from the ftp.suse.com ftp site, but the connection is really slow. How can I get them from the apt repository ?
