[opensuse] Microphone is not detected.
Hello members, I have hp Pavilion dv6-2165tx, Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz, Graphics card: nVidia GeForce GT 230M Graphics Driver NVIDIA 260.19.44. System: openSUSE 11.4 (x86_64) OS: Linux 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop x86_64 But my laptop doesn't recognize microphone at all (on-board or pluged in mic) What other information should I provide so that I can easily get help from here? How manifests that system doesn't recognize microphone? Missing in the mixer? Do you see mic in alsamixer application? Alsamixer is console application. What desktop you are using, KDE or GNOME? Did you try to disable PulseAudio, in YaST?
