How do I sotp K3b from launching when incerting blank cdrom?
I just made a coaster for no reason. I was burining a cd with xcdroast which I like very much when K3b started and ejected the disk I was writting. This, of course, made a coaster 8^(. I would prefer not uninstalling K3b, but.. thanks, -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org

I ended up having to uninstall K3b, download the latest and greatest from the K3b site, and installing that. (Unfortunately, since then I've been unable to figure out how I'm supposed to configure it (as root), so the program has been useless to regular users...) Krikket

you ned to have downloaded the latest and greatest build for SuSE from this site: http://packman.links2linux.org/ front page http://packman.links2linux.org/?action=219 K3b

fire up KDE control centre and find the K3b setup module (under system administration)... activate administrator mode, click on defaults and click apply then exit that module... it's that bl00dy simple... :)
