well, none atm. In fact, I simply had to use the file I did for the previous server * comment out all the openSUSE default (lines at the end of the main.cf file) - don't change any other default, add at the end of the file: mydomain = kim2.dodin.org myhostname = kim2 myorigin = $mydomain mydestination = $mydomain my domain have to be the subdomain used (including the hostname) tests are very long because when there are errors the mail serveurs don't return error immediatly, but sometime with several hours delay with this I can freely send/receive mails... however, why are default options not working? thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Do you mean that "postconf -n" does not work? Please try again, and post the output here. If there is private info, modify it, but tell us so. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. They do work, but only for a minimal local mailserver. To set up a complete mailserver with external connection, you only need to amend 'inet_interfaces' and 'mydomain' (AFAIR). /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (21.1°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
