I installed SuSE linux 9.0 with gnome. There is a main menu at the bottom of the desktop (green looking icon). How does one set about modifying the entries inside that main menu? The reason I ask is because I would like to change the categorization of some icons and create new folders in the menu for some other applications. Thanks in advance for any help, -- --Moby They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -- Benjamin Franklin First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. -- Pastor Martin Niemöller

When you right click on a launcher on the menu, you get a menu allowing you to manipulate it. At the bottom, there's a submenu 'Entire menu' - this allows you to make changes to that menu section. -- James Ogley, UNIX Systems Administrator, Pinnacle Insurance Plc james.ogley@pinnacle.co.uk +44 (0) 20 8731 3619 www.pinnacle.co.uk Personal: james@rubberturnip.org.uk www.rubberturnip.org.uk Updated GNOME packages for SUSE LINUX: www.usr-local-bin.org
