Hello, Trying to install sphpblog on my own server (11.4, 64 bits) I have problem I never had before with the many php application I have on this server. I asked on the spphpblog forum with with no answer yet and I don't find any info on the doc I have to problems: * sometime get doubled folder url in the url window of firefox: http://www.dodin.org/blog/blog/index.php notice the two "blog" parts, of course only one should be when I fix it manually (removing the extra "blog"), it works: http://www.dodin.org/blog//index.php works (display the page). logout works but give this: http://www.dodin.org/blog//index.php (notice the two //) * I also some time get http://www.dodin.orgblog/index.php no / between org and blog and of course this gives nonexistent page do you see any permission problem or apache 2 config problem that could give this (no error in the logs) exdactly I get: Firefox ne peut trouver le serveur à l'adresse www.dodin.orgblog2 with www.dodin.org/blog2 in the url window no such problem with http://www.dodin.org/temp/index.php that displays "test" thanks jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

exdactly I get: Firefox ne peut trouver le serveur à l'adresse www.dodin.orgblog2 with www.dodin.org/blog2
in the url window no such problem with http://www.dodin.org/temp/index.php that displays "test"
i don't know this CMS / blog software, but what you're seeing here is not a permission problem. it's something to do with apache re-write rules that are usually configured in .htaccess in your blog's base directory. most CMS' use rewrite rules to enable 'clean URLs', i.e., you can go to articles by descriptive names instead of query strings with funny numbers. how to solve this exactly should become clear studying your .htaccess file, and the relevant sections of the apache2 documentation. in my experience this takes quite some studying & fiddling; specially if you're not familiar with regular expressions, you'll have some work in front of you... -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
