And one more... Why does SUSE alway do this.. the package is on the DVD but I don't have the DVD, so I might as well go jump. They never make it available anywhere else. And why is google always so useless when searching for rpm's? I alway get this nonsense, http://www.novell.com/products/linuxpackages/professional/gd-devel.html What the heck is it even doing on the net, what on earth could I possible want to see this for? how about a link to each package so that we can get on with our lives instead of completely buggering a perfectly dstro with src tarballs, just so that some stupid app a client wants, works...

Use http://rpm.pbone.net/ or http://rpmfind.net/ (or a mirror) to find RPMs.
...
As for all the rest, "why ask why?" Randall Schulz

I would rather suggest rpmseek.com for rpm's or deb's Hans -- pgp-id: 926EBB12 pgp-fingerprint: BE97 1CBF FAC4 236C 4A73 F76E EDFC D032 926E BB12 Registered linux user: 75761 (http://counter.li.org)

Well, I'll admit both that rpmfind.net is a distant second for me and that I've never heard of rpmseek.com, but I can't say I like pop-up windows and Flash animation.
