Hi List, I just upgraded my 64bit kernel to the latest version with YOU. Upon reconfiguring vmware I ran into this minor hic-up: WARNING: Symbol version dump /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7.104/Module.symvers is missing, modules will have CONFIG_MODVERSIONS disabled. Does anybody know why kernel-syms is not available in the 64bit version of SuSE 9.1 while it is present in the 32 bit version? It is obviously not a big deal as I have to reconfigure vmware anyways with every kernel upgrade, but still one wonders about the subtle differences between the 32 and 64 bit versions of the distro. Best regards, Alex.
