Re: [SLE] [Fwd: New Keyboard Design]

I didn't even get to see the pictures; KMail didn't like them very much. Links work better anyway.
There is not good reason for `KMail' do not give you the capability of displaying them. Switch to a better mail-user-agent if it does not. There is no good reason why links should work better than mail readers, for identical contents. P.S. - I enjoyed the picture, and forwarded it to friends. But on the other hand, I do not have to pay extra dollars for the bandwidth. -- François Pinard http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~pinard -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

I wasn't happy about the size of the file, but kmail had no problem with it for me. I saw the attachment, clicked on it and got a laugh. On Wed, 26 Jan 2000, steganos1 wrote:

Mail readers should not display included or linked pictures, at least by default. If some idiot posts a link to a porno picture and it pops up on my screen here at work I'll loose my job. There's also the privacy element. I can tell who is reading the email I send out if I put a link in it back to my web site, then check my Apache logs for incoming connection IP addresses. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
