Really? Do you develop Java under Eclipse Ganymede with 64-bit Java 1.5, using Tomcat6, JBoss, all sorts of Libraries from JPackage, etc.? My impression is that this is not yet stable enough to be used beyond tests and experiments, on a daily base in projects where I don't get paid by the hour, but by results that my clients want ASAP. Actually, that's why I want to have a 64-bit kernel, to be able to do such experiments in my spare (non-client-paid) time, using virtual machines. No, I'm not a developer, but I've been using 64 bit OpenSUSE for about 2.5 years. It works fine for me.
