I upgraded(?) from 11.3 to 12.1 and now 12.2. It went OK. However, it's always a good idea to do a back up before upgrading. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Just to avoid confusion: that would work for one computer only, e.g. my laptop. It must be reiterated for every client on the LAN. No? L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Just adding my 2 cents: I - know - command line will work but isn't this supposed to be the days of the GUI ? ! No wonder why more people - don't - go to Linux. I, myself, really don't care - I can do either - however, if I want to aid a convertor from Windows xx and they need to relearn ~of the days of DOS - to me that would be an instant turn off. Hello Duaine - indeed DOS is remembered with affection . . . still do use, daily, the DOS Emulation program "dosemu" to run one application :) ............. best regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I upgraded 11.4 to 12.2 without a single problem. Actually it happened to be my cleanest upgrade ever, even with less problems than 12.1 to 12.2. It was 64bit openSUSE 11.4 with KDE previously updated to 4.8.4 from KDE Release48 repo. Upgrade was from install DVD.
