[opensuse] Kde4-kweather shows no information
At the command line I run kdeweatherreport KABE and the kweather applet opens but shows no picture or current conditions or anything. mikesd 14857 0.0 0.5 167744 2444 ? S 02:22 0:00 /usr/bin/kweatherservice mikesd 22496 0.0 1.7 161344 8536 ? S 10:59 0:00 /usr/bin/kweatherservice mikesd 22543 0.0 4.5 268388 21460 pts/0 S+ 11:06 0:00 kweatherreport kabe as you can see, kweatherservice is running... Anyone have any ideas? Yeah. Have that installed. Looks like crap on my panel. Works fine as a widget on the desktop. That, by the way, is not kweather, now is it? You can't configure a background for the plasmoid, and it's very itty bitty tiny. So I guess you're right, you can't help me. -- Michael S. I did put it on it's only panel actually and it still looked bad but readable when it had the whole panel to play with. What I eventually did was put the widget on the desktop. It looks good there, and I keep windows minimized any way until I need something. -- Michael S.
