What is the best way to load and install the new gnome? I am concerned with the order in which the rpm files are unpacked and installed, because of possible dependency problems that may arise if they are opened and processed in the wrong order. dj tuchler

I've been installing individual apps and got some errors. I assume that a lot of the libraries in the new bunch of RPMs are needed by some of the apps, and I just wanted to be sure that they were loaded first. That is a long process and was hoping for something faster. dj tuchler

The general advice on the list has been don't - especially if you use Evolution. Remember packages in supplementary are not supported, and there is no claim of their fitness for any given purpose. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0).
