Copying configuration acrosss boxen
I've just converted a couple of old Red Hat boxen to SuSE 7.1 (hooray!) Having set up the first one how I wanted both to be, I saved the config to floppy in YaST, with the intention of using this to replicate to config on the second box, but when I try to load the config from floppy on the second, it says that there are no configurations on it. The floppy type is right (minix) and the floppy device is also right (/dev/fd0) I can mount and read the .sel file with no problem Copying the file to /var/lib/YaST doesn't help either, it doesn't appear in the list... A wonderful feature of YaST 1.09.3 ! I asked this question a couple of times on this list with no response at all. I decided nobody cares. This time I'll CC: to feedback@suse.com. Maybe it will attract some attention of SuSE developers.

That's correct.

YaST just ignores it.

Well, I figure I'll resurrect this question, since I really do want to know the answer, and if there's likely to be a fixed version of YaST anytime soon? If it'll speed things up I'll mention that I used to work for SuSE UK, and do the secret handshake ;-)
