I've been working 12 hours/day plus weekends for the last couple of weeks & I haven't had much time on my box at home...:( Actually haven't really felt like it either! If I recall, there is a link to htdig.org right on the "generate index" window... The answer: go to htdig.org, pick up the htdig software, and install it. That's what worked for me. True - but I didn't realize that. The message under "update search" is misleading, since it implies (at least to me) that one has to go to the htdig.org website to get the software. Paul Abrahams
