I'm having trouble with rewrite rules and hope someone can help. I'm trying to redirect stuff.mydomain.com to otherstuff.mydoiman.com RewriteRule ^/stuff.mydomain.com http://otherstuff.mydomain.com Obviously it's not right cause it doesnt work it just goes to stuff.mydomain.com which is the documentroot. Hope someone can help.
I'm not sure to understand what you really wnat to do but if you want to
fully redirect http://stuff.mydomain.com to http://otherstuff.domain.com,
I would put something like this
RewriteEngine on
RewriteLog /var/log/httpd/my.domain-rewrite.log
RewriteLogLevel 5
RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://otherstuff.my.domain/$1 [L,P]
