Hi, I just iinstalled a nvidia 7600GT (msi) in an Opensuse 10.2 box running xgl+beryl. Everything works like a charm. After you plugged the card, be sure to install the last nvidia driver (either using Yast or by downloading the install script from nvidia). Run sax2 and voila ! I had only a problem, under sax2 the card isnt recognize (framebuffer something instead of Geforce 7600GT), but it works. Does the freeze happens using the open driver (nv) ?
