I am having trouble with my Apache2 installation on SuSE 9.2 "rcapache2 status" reports that it is running but when I connect to "localhost:80/" I get the following messages in konqueror: "An error occurred while loading http://localhost:80/:" *and* "Connection to host localhost is broken." In firefox, no messages are displayed but neither is the page, although the page title is shown in the tab bar correctly My "access_log" is empty and my "error_log" only shows the following: based on 150 max processes and 0 max threads. yes both konqueror and firefox display this file but without populating the dynamic fields, such as "Operating System", "Host" or "Webserver Version" -- "The most difficult thing in the world is to know how to do a thing and to watch someone else do it wrong without comment." -- Theodore H.
