[opensuse] Smart array b110i sata RAID on Opensuse 11.4
Hello all, Anyone have an idea of how to use that controller on OpenSuSE 11.4? When i try to install the OS, it detects two drives, and not only one (Raid 1 is defined by controller Bios). How i can make it work? Hi Claudio you need to install the HP drivers, probably they're in the Proliant Support Pack or maybe on the HP website. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (19.2°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

All the HP raid controllers I've used have shown up like: /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 <- logical disk 0, partition 1 /dev/cciss/c0d0p2 <- logical disk 0, partition 2 Etc These controllers are aware of the partitions on the disk. Is this what you are seeing? -- Med Vennlig Hilsen, A. Helge Joakimsen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
