Linux software equivalents table
Hi everybody. Perhaps some of you will recall a wonderful table of Linux equivalents to specific Windows softwares which was located at the following URL: http://linuxshop.ru/linuxbegin/win-lin-soft-en/table.shtml It was a wonderfully handy thing, but it has disappeared. Does anyone know if this table has been hosted elsewhere? aTdHvAaNnKcSe -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK - IGNORE FULLWISE

Hans Kruger kindly finds it here: http://www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft/table-eng.html Thanks much, Hans. For anyone who hasn't looked at this table, it'd be worth the time to do so. -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK - IGNORE FULLWISE
Hi, I don't see any diagnosis of this error on the web: Starting udevd udevd-event[1486]: run_program: exec of program '/sbin/udev.get_input_lirc.sh' failed This is repeated several times. Perhaps related is that udev doesn't create /dev/cdrom. The entry in udev.conf contains only "dvd". Should it be changed? jim bennett
