Abiword 1.0.0 final is finally out, you can get builds for SuSE at www.usr-local-bin.org This means that a 1.0 branch of bug fixes will be maintained, as well as a development tree towards 1.2, which will include a lot of new features. -- James Ogley, Unix Systems Administrator, Pinnacle Insurance Plc james.ogley@pinnacle.co.uk www.pinnacle.co.uk +44 (0) 20 8731 3619 Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.0) Updated GNOME RPMs for SuSE Linux: www.usr-local.org *********************************************************************** CONFIDENTIALITY. Requires libgal.so.19.
Which package contains this file?
dar:/dist/suse-7.2> rpm -qf /opt/gnome/lib/libgal.so.19 gal-0.19-90 -- Richard Bos For those without home the journey is endless

It's best to make sure you're as up to date as possible, as new versions of software sometimes require new libraries as well as newer versions of other ones, and the packages on usr-local-bin.org are built against the latest updates from ftp.suse.com
That did it, but I had to ftp it from the supplemental directory. It was not on my 7.3 CD, as far as I can tell. -- James Ogley, Unix Systems Administrator, Pinnacle Insurance Plc james.ogley@pinnacle.co.uk www.pinnacle.co.uk +44 (0) 20 8731 3619 Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.0) Updated GNOME RPMs for SuSE Linux: www.usr-local.org
