[opensuse] Dangerously low on space
I have windows vista and opensuse on the same hard drive, with vista I got a message that It is dangerously low on space. What and how should I handle this? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Run the disk cleanup utility under the system tools. Your question could probably better be answered in a Windows discussion group/mailing list, since it's the Windows installation that's giving you the message.... You'll probably get plenty of responses here that just tell you to delete Vista, but I'll assume you've already thought of that. You don't say what kind of computer. Desktop? Laptop? If you can, the best idea would be to add a drive, and put each OS on its own. Or if that's out of the question, a bigger drive should be an option. If none of the above sounds workable for you, you'll just need to figure out what you can delete without missing it too much. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Disk space? Do the same as on any operating system: delete what you do not need, to free space, and/or add more disk space, including adding more disks or replace with a larger disk. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. You did not tell us how you may have partitioned the drive to start with. A look at the website for the Evil OS says you'll want a minimum of 40GB for it. I can't imagine any hard drive (except maybe in some tiny laptop) these days less than 100 GB? -- Tony Alfrey tonyalfrey@earthlink.net "I'd Rather Be Sailing" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
