Hi All, I was checking around in /var/log this morning and noticed several y2logs such as y2log-1, y2log-2 on up through y2log-8. Most of these are 1MB in size though a few are only 56kb. Are these something important that I need to leave on or can I safely remove them with the exception of y2log? I searched around the net for some threads on these logs and couldn't find anything really, hoping someone here can shred some light on it for me, Thanks, Dallam

Seems like an execution trace of no interest for a normal user. Maybe if yast have some bug, this trace can help SuSE people, but sure yast2 creates the file every time it runs, so I think you (and I) can delete it without problem. HTH.
