I am having a strange problem with Fetchmail (sues 8.1 pro). I keep getting malformed email messages (two of which have been included at the bottom of this message). When ever one of these messages gets into my inbox, it Fetchmail starts failing at that message and I need to log into the web mail interface and manually delete the message. In the past I have used Eudora with this account, and it would just download the message. Is there a way to make Fetchmail download these messages? Once I get them off the server I can deal with them in procmail, but I need them to get that far. (I am using pop3 if it matters)
Any help is apreceated

You will most likely have to upgrade your fetchmail. I used to have these problems until I upgraded to fetchmail-6.2.5

You will most likely have to upgrade your fetchmail.
I used to have these problems until I upgraded to fetchmail-6.2.5
OK, then I will just live with it until I upgrade to 9.1 (not very long hopefully), thanks for the info -- Jesse

Known problem, and discussed here, on this list: Date: Mon, 2 Feb 2004 21:18:37 +0100 (CET) From: Carlos E. R. To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: Re: [SLE] fetchmail - Version 6.2.5 You need to update to version 6.2.5 of fetchmail. However, when I did that, I discovered that those emails were lost, deleted, not delivered. Most are spam or virus, but some are legitimate. So... choose your poison. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
