I'd suspect a faulty disk. Can you copy the file manually? If not, chances are high your drive's flaky. See 'man badblocks' for a possible temporary workaround. Otherwise I'd check if /usr/local/lib has enough free space. -- Penguins to save the dinosaurs -- Handelsblatt on Linux for S/390
