[SLE] OT haw to hack M$ serial No from pc
Hi folks, I know this is off topic , but I figured some of the hackes could help me out. The windows is number on the Certifacate doesent match the one on the pcu. Epxplorer is totaly carshed , and there is data on the drive , and I need to reinstall on the disk. I have the preinstal disk somewhere , but that would wipe out the drive. Any one know hoe to get the number that was mistyped in from the dcomputer its self , or could you piont me to the right direction. And yes it is a legitamate copy that came with the pc. Looks like they mistyped one on the digits. Its win95 BTW. otherwise will have to pick up an upgrade copy of win898. If you are re-installing Windows 95, you might want to try the generic serial number. If your serial number is something like: xxx-OEM-xxxxxxx, the generic serial number would be 095-OEM-0959595. I don't remember if the zero goes on the left or right of the 95's. Some serial numbers have four digits instead of the OEM, all you need to type in is 9595. You need to play around with it. On the cpu??? the reg # is not on the cpu! comon... hehehe
