Hi everibody, i 'd like to test a LOKI game, but the program try to find the libGL.so.1. I have not find it in the CD, so i have tried in www.rpmfind.net but i found only version made by other distributors... can you suggest me where i can get it? Which game? What are your OS specs? Particulary the graphics card. This could be a problem with the Glide library. If you give us more about what hardware you have it would help us greatly. Matt On Mon, 14 May 2001, Massimo Arnaudo wrote:

Had to be a TNT (never used one). Although the symptons are identical to problem that one can encounter using an Nvidia card. I am pretty sure that perhaps whichever OpenGL is meant to be installed is not there, or has a broken link. Did this work OK before you upgraded? Is TNT available as DRI? Or GLX? One way to test your configuration before launching any game is to use ssystem. Also, run yast with CD 1 and checvk through the X parts for anything to do with TNT. Also, check the website for Xfree86 updates if you have not done already. Hopefully someone can give you a direct package name that you need to :-). Matt On Mon, 14 May 2001, Massimo Arnaudo wrote:

Matt Yes, of course: SuSE 7.0 2.4.3 Nvidia TNT2 M64 XFree 4.0 What I did was installing Mesa(x3d), then downloading Nvidia kernel module and GLX from http://www.nvidia.com/Products/Drivers.nsf/Linux.html (I

Got it, Which version of GLX? Was it the src package? Did you install it via Yast? One quick thing that "may" resolve this is to try doing a ldconfig as it maybe installed. but not pointing to the correct place. Also, you might want to check to make sure that you do not have any mesa3dfx packages installed. Matt On Tue, 15 May 2001 dieter@FreeBSD.rave.org wrote:
