I am using SuSE 7.2, I have apache installed & mod_perl. I want to run a perl script (index.pl) from a subdirectory of a user directory. i.e. /home/user/public_html/sub_dir/index.pl Can anybody tell me how I configure the httpd.conf file to allow this please. Phil

Take care that the /home/user permission is at least set 755, if not apache will never be able to reach the */piblic_html dir. The rest of the info can be easily copied from the http.conf file or the apache manual. -- Richard Bos For those who have no home the journey is endless

Sure I posted this recently... Here goes:
Hello, I am trying to install VMware workstation 2.0 on my 7.2 system. I used the RPM file which seemed to install fine. When I run the configuration script I get the following error: "What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is a kernel header file directory, but it does not contain the file "linux/version.h" as expected. This can happen if the kernel has never been built, or if you have invoked the "make mrproper" command in your kernel directory. In any case, you may want to rebuild your kernel." I have looked in /usr/src/linux/include and version.h is not there. I ran "which version.h" but can not find the version file. The docs suggest using Suse 7.1 with kernel 2.2.x, of course I am using 7.2 and 2.4.x Any suggestions? Thanks, Dominic
