How do you go about that? Can you download from iTunes? My mom has been bugging me, because she wants to get an iPod. Since I refuse to get one, I know very little about how it all works on either Wintendo or Linux. gtkpod has nothing to do with the iTunes store. I have my collection and don't use itunes anyway. Tried that but all I get is another /media/ipod-1 the error is: Method "mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Valume" doesn't exist This error pops up over an Konq screen for /media/sda1 Sean -- Strange Things happen under the midnight sun When men and dogs go hunting for gold

no, not with hal automatic mount point.
