It should, we even upgraded redhat 8 and redhat 9 systems to fedora core 1 in this manner using apt-get, back in 2003 or 2004. Can anyone here confirm that this process works for upgrading in place to suse 10.2? That is good news then. I'm new to YAST having used Caldera and RH before the auto updaters - we used rpm on the command line and wrote RPMS <G>.
