Dunno, but I would be inclined to try writing a script to open the terminal, which then finishes off by doing the rm's you want. And then I would ask about the problems that approach throws up. Of course you would have to make sure that the terminal ran in-process of the script and was not spawned as a new process. Not sure of your need to do this - what is the core problem you are out to resolve? regards Vince Littler
