Ok.....it's been known now for over 2 days that mkinitrd is messed up. Why hasn't there been an update for 10.1? 'Don't know.....someone else reported it. The latest kernel update went out without a proper mkinitrd. When requesting updates, describing the actual problem might be a good idea, where "might be a good idea" means "is needed in order to fulfill your request". Do you seriously believe that someone will now go ahead and search the mailing lists and bugzilla for your problem? You requested this problem, so please do it yourself and post either the bugzilla ID or a pointer to the mailing list post where this was reported. The problem cannot be fixed without knowing it! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I have found one with LVM vs EVMS, and it is already assigned to the correct person. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=206609 perhaps this is the one. Are you talking about the broken mkinitrd in Factory? That one has already been fixed (#206368). Oh, and it doesn't affect 10.1 at all!
