[SLE] LDAP user plugins lost...
Somehow the Samba plugin for user management doesn't show up in the "plugins" tab of the user editing anymore... Any ideas on how to get it back? The files /usr/share/YaST2/clients/users_plugin_ldap_all.ycp /usr/share/YaST2/clients/users_plugin_samba_groups.ycp /usr/share/YaST2/clients/users_plugin_samba.ycp Are all in place, but only the plugin for "Edit remaining attributes of LDAP user" shows up in the plugin list. -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Really no ideas anyone? I just compared to a SLES10 server, and the plugin shows up just fine there. The Samba server and user backend in LDAP is pretty useless in 10.1 if the properties aren't editable... -- Anders Norrbring Norrbring Consulting -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

I had to edit /etc/YaST2/ProductFeatures to change ui_mode = "simple" to ui_mode = "expert".. -- Anders Norrbring Norrbring Consulting -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
