Hi, I produce a monthly newsletter using Microsoft Word 2000 in WinXP. I then convert it to a pdf file for distribution to the recipients.
When I try to open the .doc file in LibreOffice in Linux, it gets everything all jumbled up. I am using opensuse 12.2 with KDE Platform Version 4.9.5 "release 3", and LibreOffice 4.0.0.1. I have tried this in LO 3.6 as well, and it also opens incorrectly in that version.
/snip Mark I downloaded the doc file from your bug report and opened it in Libreoffice 3.6 build 304 from opensuse, running on opensuse 12.2, KDE 4.9.5 release 3, i.e. very similar to your system except for the Libreoffice version. In my Libreoffice, the doc file appears virtually the same as the pdf you uploaded. The only significant difference is the font of 'SKIPERFECT' on the cover page, presumably because I don't have the font used to create this heading.
