Hi all, I've just got anti aliased fonts working in KDE and it does look sweet. However when I bring up the Kontrol panel "look and feel" -> "Fonts", there are no fonts listed in the dialog dox ( even though I can choose size and style ). I am using KDE from CVS, but I've also tried with the KDE 2.1 rpms from SuSE. I do seem to have truetype fonts ( using xlsfonts lists a number of fonts picked up from the truetype directory ). Any help gratefully accepted, CP Hennessy

In order to use TTF's you have to have them accessible. They don't come with KDE2 because KDE.org and SuSE are not suppose to redistribute them. You can however install them to your hearts content. :) Then rerun SuSEconfig and they should be made available to KDE2. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org ----- The only argument for the superiority of Windows over UNIX is that General Protection Fault outranks Colonel Panic.
