Re: [SLE] Yast 2 Doesn't start after upgrading KDE 3.0.1
Hi actually i installed directly from kde. But first i installed from suse's suplementry site and whole system is gone ofcourse i installed through yast. The packages i installed dated back 6/2/02 just a couple of days ago. My last instalment from kde looks like more stable and works fine except yast 2 for now. But sux works for yast 2 . Is there any negative effects by using sux? emin -- On Sun, 9 Jun 2002 10:15:24 Robert wrote:
have you got he latest builds of the kde base packages? I had similar issues until I installed the packages dated 30/5/02. you can find them in SuSE's linuKs archives. these fixed the problem for me. I believe these packages are also installed by YOU. You should be able to start Yast2 in text moed from a terminal. be shure to use sux not su and if you install manually remember to run SuSEconfig
