[SLE] RealPlayer10 +Suse 10.1, no video
Using RealPlayer 10, either that installed with Suse 10.1 or uninstalling it and installing the RealPlayer10 from www.real.com, it will not display any video from either a .rm files from the plugger test page, or from vieos www.cbsnews.com. Any clue as to why it will not play these videos? In may case, I copied it to /usr/lib/browser-plugins directory. You can check whether the location is correct or not on your browser's "About Plugin" page. The plugin is in /usr/lib/browser-plugins. If I try to play a downloaded file, all I get is the audio, no video. This is the same when I try a streaming video from cbsnews.com. Have you tried to disable "Use XVideo" in the preferences? Sven -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

That fixed it. Now if I could only get it to work in Opera. It works in Firefox.
