I tried NVU (which is not maintained any longer), then its bugfix derivative Kompozer, which is in general the same thing. I don't mind if someone advises on any commercial Linux compatible HTML editing tool.
Have a look at quanta+ in the kdewebdev3 package. It has a wysiwyg mode, as well as code completion for html/css.
You can switch to wysiwig mode by selecting VPL in the view menu.

Thank's for the hint, quanta is already in opensuse repository and was very easy to install. For my experience, I do not really need wysiwig for html coding (though I do it rather rarely), but code autocompletion really saves tons of time (I used to use it when programming in java). I did this in kwrite before (which has html code hightligh and some useful formating features), now I will switch to quanta for this. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
